A foster worker’s job is stressful. Work loads are heavy and the task of aiding the children and their families is often overwhelming. What if the Body of Christ reached out to these workers to show love and support? They would feel hope and better job satisfaction.

HOW YOU CAN SERVE FOSTER WORKERS:

 

HOST A QUARTERLY RECHARGE BREAKFAST/LUNCH EVENT

Treat foster workers to a meal and share words of encouragement. Serving foster workers makes them feel appreciated and empowered to continue serving their children and families. Our goal is to have a group provide a meal once a month. Please mobilize your group to serve one month in 2019!

PROVIDE GOODY BAGS WITH ENCOURAGING NOTES

Everyone loves a gift. Show the love of Jesus to foster workers by packing goody bags

full of comfort items, fun gifts or needed office items. Click here for goody bag ideas.

MAIL ENCOURAGING NOTES AND BIRTHDAY WISHES

Getting a personal note or birthday wish in the mail makes foster workers feel special

and appreciated. We provide a list and mailing address so you can encourage workers

throughout the year.
