PROVIDE CARE BAG ESSENTIALS

A great project for your business, family, a church ministry team,

small group, children's ministry or youth ministry.

What Are Care Bags?

Many children and teens enter care without any of their personal items and only the clothes on their backs. These bags are filled with toiletry items, age appropriate activities/toys, comfort items such as, a blanket, socks, underwear and pajamas to help them transition into their new home quickly.

Each foster child that comes into care or our relative and non relative placements receive a care bag to take with them to their new home. These bags are kept in stock at all times for the workers to access as needed at our local St. Clair DHR office. Donate the items needed for us to provide these bags to each child/teen. If unable to purchase tangible items please consider making a tax deductible monetary donation to help with the purchase of items to fill these bags.

Our resource closet exists to provide immediate needs to help place children and teens in homes to relieve these families of some of the financial burden of getting a placement so quickly and to provide comfort items to help the children and teens transition easier. This resource also assists foster families, relative placements and at-risk families in our community throughout the year with seasonal clothes and more. See list to donate or give a monetary donation online to help provide for these items. Foster Aid ministry is a 501c3 Non profit ministry.
